On this bookshelf, particles of light occasionally pour down from the lamp. No equipment is visible in the space. The light travels across the surface of the wooden pillars, transforms into text, and speaks to visitors as sentences. Words of wisdom from those who came before us that illuminate an uncertain future, or hints on how to enjoy life are offered. Since ancient times, light has been a symbol of wisdom in Buddhism and various other fields. Rather than presenting information as-is, we have created a warm, light-themed presentation. Seeping from soft wood grain, it brings a pleasant comfort that touches the heartstrings of people. The content changes diversely throughout morning/afternoon/evening, by date, and by season, so that each time you use it, you encounter new information. At times, "aphorisms"—passages extracted from books, such as words of wisdom from predecessors—are projected. At other times, the "Calendar of Today" teaches you about the current season and how to enjoy it. Furthermore, a "Squirrel Clock"—not a cuckoo clock—appears, with a lively animation and sound effects where a squirrel tells the time.
